Veronica 'Skyler Splash Pink'

A gorgeous, compact plant with upright, vibrant pink stems. This low maintenance plant doesn’t mind frost and tolerate dry conditions once established. With their long stems, the flowers are fantastic for picking and last well in a vase (around ten days). The florets stretch 10-18cm along the stem.

The blooms open freely through the hot, summer months and with dead heading, or a mid season cut back, can last well into autumn. After the show finishes, you can allow the shoots to stand into winter where they turn from bronze to black and the birds can enjoy the seeds.

The mid green foliage grows along the stems of Veronica ‘Skyler Pink’. They can flower even without frost. You can enjoy more and more flowers as they establish.

Grow in moderately fertile to humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Plant in full sun to semi shade. Water to establish and keep moist in active growth. Cut back in late winter or early spring to allow the new growth to shine. Pretty well pest and disease free, even rabbits don’t seem to bother them.

Veronica ‘Skyler Pink’ is an ideal border plant and is compact enough for containers. Veronica plants are commonly known as Speedwell.
