Japanese Lily 'Scarlet Delight'
The recurved petals have a delicate white border, framing the scarlet to magenta red colouring. The blooms are textured with deeper red freckles that stand proud of the petals. This is a strong Lily with good disease resistance.
Opening from midsummer, Japanese Liles make good cut flowers with up to 20 flowers on a stem.
Lilium ‘Scarlet Delight’ is a hybrid of the Japanese Lily, ‘Uchida’.
Plant in full sun to part shade in a moist, well drained soil. Leave them in the ground to naturalise and multiply. Add plenty of fertiliser each spring and summer to keep them blooming at their best.
