Honeysuckle 'Halliana'
The strongly perfumed flowers open pure white, then mature to soft gold. Commonly known as Japanese Honeysuckle, it is long blooming with nice, mid green foliage. In ideal conditions, the flowers are followed by ornamental, glossy black berries.
Honeysuckle ‘Halliana’ holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit so you can be assured it is reliable.
You could choose to prune Honeysuckle ‘Halliana’ into a small shrub, or take the easy route and let it ramble through trees or shrubs, along walls or fences, through pergolas or trellises, covering embankments, or wherever needs decorating and you will appreciate the fragrance.
Quick to establish and grow and evergreen in all but the coldest climates. It has a nice soft feel, perfect for cottage gardens.
Plant Honeysuckle in full sun to semi shade. Choose a moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Water to establish, then only if rainfall is low, they are dry tolerant once established. Beneficial insects and birds love these flowers.
Honeysuckle ‘Halliana’ is commonly known as Hall’s Honeysuckle or Japanese Honeysuckle.
