Dwarf Iris 'George'

"Iris ‘George’ has a soft, sweet, primrose fragrance and opens late winter to early spring. The leaves are narrow and don’t generally grow until the flower is fading. Each bloom is 6-8cm across. It is noted for being slightly taller and larger than your average reticulata.

These are very hardy bulbs that will tolerate frost, full sun to semi shade and any well drained soil. Dwarf Iris ‘Alida’ looks wonderful in a rockery, packed into a pot or in groups towards the front of a garden bed.
