Double Oriental Lilium 'Exotic Sun'

Double layers of lemon yellow petals. A full and fabulous flower. It has the occasional stamens but they are few and far between.

It is always exciting to offer these flashy, fragrant flowers. This one is an Oriental-Triumph cross or O.T. Lilium. While most doubles don’t have stamens, this one has a few.

Simply plant, fertilise and enjoy. Leave them in the ground to establish and they will bring you years of joy. Choose a humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny location. They will appreciate afternoon shade in warmer climates.

Keep your Double Oriental Lilies moist while in growth, and fertilise at the start of the season, then again as the flowers are finishing. Mulching over the summer will help to help maintain moisture levels in the soil.

They will take between 10-14 weeks to flower. A little faster in warmer weather. Double Oriental Lilies bloom a little later than single Oriental Liliums.
