Bidens 'Blazing Glory'

Quick to grow and establish with a long bloom period, it is a real winner. Glorious, semi double, deep orange flowers with a rich yellow heart bloom in abundance for months on end. It will easily fill a pot or colour a blank garden spot.

Bidens ‘Blazing Glory’ has first-rate branching and is fast growing to form a nice, dense mound.

Bidens are brilliant and colourful fillers in beds, borders, or pots. They are heat tolerant and have plenty of blooms from early spring to late autumn. Ours are in a protected position and never stop blooming. We use them each year at our KaBloom festival and they are always a talking point.

Grow in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Water to establish, and then keep relatively moist during flowering for the best show. Add some fertiliser in summer to keep them blooming at their best – they bloom heavily so should be well fed. In pots you will need to pay more attention to watering as potting mix is perfectly drained and dries out quickly. If you give them a little trim mid season and some fertiliser and you can enjoy a second flush in to autumn.
