Streptocarpus are from the same family as African Violets and require the same sort of conditions They are low maintenance plants with large, tropical like leaves that remain evergreen. Spring to autumn the Streptocarpus blooms form in clusters above the foliage. The flowers have intricate details and are much admired. Grow your Streptocarpus in bright light in well drained potting mix. You can wick water or water well then allow to dry out before watering again.
